1.4BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

1.5    Section 1. EMISSIONS INVENTORY AND IMPLEMENTATION PLAN.
1.6The Metropolitan Airports Commission shall prepare an inventory of carbon
1.7emissions currently generated by operations at the Minneapolis-St. Paul International
1.8Airport as well as all reliever and other airports under the control of the commission.
1.9The Metropolitan Airports Commission shall develop an implementation plan to reduce
1.10these carbon emissions on the schedule provided and by the percentages provided in
1.11the greenhouse gas emission goals established in Minnesota Statutes, section 216H.02,
1.12subdivision 1. The implementation plan must include, but is not limited to, reduction
1.13of on-site energy consumption, increased recycling, and planning for travel demand
1.14management.

1.15    Sec. 2. REPORT.
1.16The Metropolitan Airports Commission shall report the results of the inventory and
1.17implementation plan required by section 1 to the legislature by January 1, 2010.
