HB 2498 -- Collisions with Deer

This bill requires the Department of Conservation to pay the
first $250 in repairs to a motor vehicle that collides with a
deer and is not otherwise covered by insurance.  The vehicle
owner must provide clear and convincing evidence that the damage
was caused by a collision with a deer and that the vehicle was
being legally operated at the time of the collision.
