HB 2325 -- Proof of Legal Presence in the United States

Sponsor:  Wildberger

This bill requires anyone appearing in court due to an arrest or
traffic citation, upon request of the court, to provide proof of
citizenship or legal presence in the United States including, but
not limited to, a driver's or nondriver's license, work permit,
visa, or greencard.  The prosecuting attorney must report anyone
who cannot provide proof to the appropriate federal authorities.
