FISCAL ANALYSIS
ASSUMPTION
Officials from the Department of Public Safety - Division of Fire Safety (DFS) state this legislation changes the makeup of the Elevator Safety Board housed within DFS to eliminate one representative of manufacturers of elevators in this state, and add one representative of an elevator company that installs, services, and maintains elevators and elevator-related equipment in this state. This change will not fiscally impact our Division.
