HB 2086 -- Lobbying by Certain Public Officials and their Staff

Sponsor:  Zimmerman

This bill prohibits any elected or appointed official or employee
of the state or any political subdivision or its staff from
registering or acting as a lobbyist for a period of one year
after leaving office or employment.  These individuals; however,
may act as a lobbyist for a governmental entity immediately upon
leaving office or employment.
