HB 2000 -- Minimum Ambulance Staffing in Lafayette and Saline
Counties

This bill adds the counties of Lafayette and Saline to the list
of counties that have a minimum ambulance staffing requirement.
At least one licensed emergency medical technician (EMT),
registered nurse, or physician must be with a patient in the
patient compartment when transporting a patient.  At all other
times when an ambulance is in use as an ambulance, there must be
a minimum of one EMT and one other crew member.
