FISCAL ANALYSIS
ASSUMPTION
Officials from the Office of the Governor and the Office of the Missouri Senate each assume the proposal would have no fiscal impact on their respective agencies.
Officials from the Department of Health and Senior Services state there are currently seven members of the State Board of Health and seven members of the State Board of Senior Services. These members get reimbursed for actual and necessary expenditures that they incur and also receive $25 per meeting that they attend. The proposed legislation will create a new State Board of Health and Senior Services with nine members and will increase the payment to $70 per meeting that they attend. The fiscal impact would be very nominal and would be absorbed by the Department.

The proposed legislation appears to have no fiscal impact.
This legislation is not federally mandated, would not duplicate any other program and would not require additional capital improvements or rental space.
