FISCAL ANALYSIS
ASSUMPTION
Officials at the Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) assume no fiscal impact because the legislation states that the cost of the signs will be paid for by the "St. Joseph Fraternal Order of Police." MoDOT will not manufacture or install the signs until the department receives payment for the signs. The estimated cost for the two signs is $2,200 ($1,100 each).
Officials at the Missouri Highway Patrol assume that there is no fiscal impact from this proposal.
