HB 1588 -- State Board of Embalmers and Funeral Directors

This bill expands the membership of the State Board of Embalmers
and Funeral Directors within the Department of Insurance,
Financial Regulations, and Professional Registration from six to
eleven by adding five consumer advocates.  Two of the consumer
advocates will be appointed by the Governor with the advice and
consent of the Senate; one must be an employee of the Office of
the Attorney General appointed by the Attorney General; and two
must be employees from the Department of Health and Senior
Services, one of which must be an employee of the Division of
Aging, appointed by their respective directors.
