[190.161] UNCOMPENSATED AND VOLUNTARY SERVICES; 1.6EXPENSES. 1.7To assist in the discharge of the functions of the department, the adjutant general 1.8may accept uncompensated and voluntary services and enter into written agreements 1.9with private or public agencies or persons for uncompensated and voluntary services 1.10as may be practical pursuant to sections 16C.08 and 16C.09. Persons rendering 1.11voluntary uncompensated services may be reimbursed for travel expenses incurred in the 1.12performance of official duties at the same rate per mile as state employees.
